The Falconry Fund, Inc., is a tax exempt US 501(c)(3) charitable and grantmaking organization founded to support and protect the various arts and practices of falconry and the cultural and environmental assets that make it possible. We define falconry as the legal hunting of wild prey species in natural settings with wild-caught or domestically-produced birds of prey: an ancient global tradition and modern practice pursued by enthusiasts on nearly every continent.
About the Falconry Fund
Protect, Preserve, Educate, Communicate…
The Falconry Fund, Inc., is the culmination of the work of numerous falconers who envisioned a unique financial and programmatic resource with the sole purpose of protecting and preserving their sport for future generations.
The Fund received its IRS status as a 501(c)(3) Public Charity in July, 2016. It is an incorporated nonprofit in the State of Louisiana (circa 2015) and able to receive tax-deductible monetary and real property gifts that will support its ongoing mission throughout the Americas and beyond.
The Fund is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees and staffed by an Executive Director; all Board and Staff members are licensed falconers.
